Orpheus and Eurydice fall in love, as the background of harmonic music reflects their state of relationship. Eurydice becomes his music, as the guitar tattoo on her back symbolize a newly whole musical soul for Orpheus to replace his broken one. His hands follow suit and are moved into the proper positions. However, their happiness does not last for long… The sheet music is from an actual classical piece, “Fantasie-Impromtu” by Chopin.

Curious?
This has to be my favorite piece of yours. I would love to have a print of it.. signed by you of course. :)
i love the colors and texture here, it all looks wonderfully magical and fantastic and beautiful. eurydice's face looks great as well, much depth of emotion shown. :aww: i had a hard time discerning eurydice's position, though, until i read the description; perhaps the shading under her bottom is not deep enough? :? the musical notes look excellent though, and the atmosphere is great; beautiful work.

I almost want to cry looking at this.

Truly a beautiful look at the myth.
