Cotton candy colors invite you into a peaceful suspension.. so cool and soothing..

You barely even notice her screaming eyes as her last exhale signifies the collapsing of her lungs..

The world will go dark soon.

Thanks.. :) Is it the one with the corset?.. This character isn't actually Ophelia, but I wanted to evoke the comparison.. I did another Ophelia oil painting prior to that, which I have yet to post..

Captivating and seductively nightmarish; I love the spontaneous fluidity of the background and the way you've rendered each link in the chain; it's making this startling eye contact with her as she goes that really startles me...

I love it - I love the expression and the bubbles give a real sense of movement, or even urgency... I'm not sure, but I feel like it could just start moving at any point... it's almost like I expect her to start struggling. Also, once again you've come up with some very beautiful colours. Well done, hon.

Thanks a lot for comment and the fav! (I'm slightly embarrassed about some of the imperfections.. I had kept the paintig wrapped in plastic for a year after I painted it and when I finally wanted to scan it in, the plastic took some of the paint off with it..)

i mean theirs beauty in all things right. im a guy. ill think simple. see a model
shes perfect
god knows... heh.. god knows a lot of things


see a girl walking down the street in clothes that are slighty dirty, hairs not all perfect - she looks homly. to me
she could be just as attractive if not more attractive then the model.
for her imperfections. frailty.

i like it not being perfect. it shows character and a touch of humanity. that my friend is something i truly value and i think is truly precious.
